The global 24-hour news network launched in 1985 is now delivred across te- levision, mobile phones and the internet. The channel's output comprises breaking news on business, sport and current affairs, and there are also documentaries, in-depth features and interviews. CNN says its viewers are global citizens, opinion leaders, educated to a high level and have high personal incomes. Last 12 months the channel relaunched CNN Mobile and cnn.com, where rich media will feature strongly. It also introduced Tourism Advertising Solutions and Knowledge (TASK) Group, plus a global digital re- search team. Next 12 month CNN has plans for content delivery over IPTV and video-on-demand.
