Expandable Ad

As soon as the user moves the mouse pointer across the advertising medium, it unfolds to a large advert (rollover effect). Once the mouse pointer moves out of the advertisement surface again, the advertisement shrinks back to its original format. The advertiser benefits from the surprise effect and the enlarged advertisement. The user's interaction increases the perception of the advertisement message.

Specific features with ExpandableAd:
2 separate Flash-Files have to be delivered for the ExpandableAd as per the specifications. The 2 files are then put together to the ExpandableAd by us in Adserver. Please note the various guidelines of the publisher regarding Close-Button.

Fallback-Image:
The fallback-image (Gif/Jpeg) is shown to users who use no suitable lash-Plugin or Javascript.

Click variables:
Establish the Clickcommand according to our guidelines, in order for us to provide you the correct click statistic.

Performance:
Prepare the flash-files with a maximum frame-rate of 18fps and do without recursive loops and complex tweenings as far as possible.

Sound:
For all advertising media with sound, a clearly visible "Sound Off" button has to be integrated. Sound is only allowed to be activated by a user-action
