We are proud to announce a complete restyling and resizing of De Standaard Magazine, the Saturday lifestyle magazine with De Standaard.
As of March 10th, De Standaard Magazine will be published in a fresh, new layout and a practical, trendy size.
There will be a huge marketing campaign to launch the new De Standaard Magazine on March 10th:
- Announcement of the new De Standaard Magazine with a media campaign
- Retail action: extra distribution & sampling
- Circulation in the first 3 weeks will be increased with 10.000 copies (ca. +10%)

Our editorial manager Peter Vandermeersch wants to give a new dimension to Het Nieuwsblad with the very ambitious plan to make Het Nieuwsblad the best community newspaper in Flandres, this in a market where the popular newspapers are declining.
This project started on November 21 with a new structure and a sparkling layout.
Weekend supplement
Also the weekend supplement gets a complete make-over (see cover):
Besides the traditional items like travel, health, garden, design, real estate and food,... the strips, the puzzle pages and the kids supplement De Wakkere Muis complete the weekend feeling.
Het Nieuwsblad is very proud, in these days where cooking and dining has become a real mediahype, to announce a ferm co-operation with Sergio Herman, Gault-Millau top chef of the year. He becomes the anchor man of the food section with recipes but also various tips about where to shop, to eat, to sleep...
