Created in 1995 to fill a gap in the romance magazines sector of the Portuguese market. Until then, there was only one such publication and that was too downmarket. It contains everyday life and Portuguese & foreign VIPs news. Places emphasis upon picture quality and textual content, whether in reports/interviews. Its editorial line is very close to Hola!, the Spanish magazine. It seeks to portray the private side of the public figures lives always with their permission and showing respect for their privacy. Since it was established, several magazines have been launched to compete with it but its standards with regard to quality and respect for the interviewees haven allowed it to maintain its position, "best-selling romance magazine".
